Barbara Derby created "Fall Baskets" from Block of the Month basket blocks that she won many years ago. She quilted it on a long arm at Quilt Crossing - her first! The pattern is "Circle of Nine" by Janet Houts & Jean Ann Wright.
"Summertime Sampler" was made and quilted by Barb Williams from a pattern of the same name by Erica Kaprow. The top is all wool and the back and binding is cotton. It took a while to find the variety of wool used and about a year to complete the quilt.
Deb Smith made her Cat Quilt at a collage class at Quilt Expressions. It was the first time she had made a collage quilt, ever used a walking foot and first time she tried to quilt. It looks great Deb!

Donna Swanson made this Fall Quilt and quilted it on her long arm. She purchased it as a kit at a quilt shop in Mt. Vernon, Ohio. Every fall, her husband helps hang it in their living area.
Donna Swanson made and quilted these wall hangings that hang in her home. "Window of Wonder" includes embroidered wheat stalks and thread painted sun rays. The 2nd quilt started with embroidered sunflowers and grew in rounds from there.
"Butterflies" made & quilted by Janet Fishman, a Hoffman challenge finalist. Jacket traveled for 12 months and exhibited at Carnegie Museum.
Janet Moats made "Fruit is My Candy" after going to the Star Valley Quilt Show and an 8 hr training from Ricky Tims. She didn't use his exact kaleidoscope pattern but did follow his technique. Most of the quilt is in 15 year old fabric featuring various fruits.
Jan Lundine made her first Bargello Quilt in a class taught by Donna Hale. It was fun and addicting. She has several more "Bargellos" in the planning stages.
Joleen Graham made her Snow Ball Quilt from the Book "A Quilt Cottage". It was quilted by Sister Chick's Quilt Shop. She received the quilt kit as a Christmas present a few years ago. It will be sent off to her Aunt Norma who is 93 years old.
Margie Braach made Leo's Quilt from the "Majestic Mtn" pattern from 3 Dudes Quilting. She used a rainbow jelly roll and completed it at a spring retreat. She will send it to her Grand Nephew, Leo.
Sharon & Granddaughter Alyssa Koelling made Rainbow Roosters together. Sharon had about 600 4" squares to use up. Alyssa chose the rainbow fabrics to use with the rooster and chicken tracks squares. Sharon says "One should not put a baby on this side of the quilt if you want the child to sleep - the back side is for sleeping."
Sharon Koelling made and quilted this braided Quilt of Valor. She loves making braids after piecing 180 inches of braid, she cut it into 10" squares for this quilt. She has 2 more similar tops at home ready for her to quilt.
