Sit and Sew with Kenna Ogg of Madison Cottage Design – BBQ Schoolhouse
March 23 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Kenna has requested that in lieu of the $15 class fee, everyone bring $15 worth of Foodbank supplies to be donated to the local Foodbank. If there are those who prefer not to donate, the $15 class fee still applies.
Kenna is a local quilt designer who specializes in fat-quarter-friendly designs. Participants should bring one of the following Madison Cottage Design patterns to class, along with basic sewing supplies:
- Eggplant Relish (Omnigrid 96 ruler)
- Cocoa Nibs (Creative Grids Perfect Rectangle ruler)
- Field Greens (no ruler required).
All of Kenna’s patterns, as well as the rulers required for specific patterns, are available from Sewfinity.com, a local online quilt store based in Meridian. If orders are placed early enough, Sewfinity can get more of these specific patterns if needed. Otherwise, Kenna’s patterns can also be found at other local quilt stores and online.
This class will basically be a sit-and-sew, with Kenna on hand to answer questions about the patterns and give cutting advice and color advice.
In lieu of the usual $15 Schoolhouse registration fee, Kenna has requested that class participants bring $15 worth of food or hygiene supplies, or a $15 Fred Meyer gift certificate to be donated to the Foodbank.
